Frequently Asked Questions
Which service is right for me?
Depending on the reason for your visit, as a client, it could be challenging to know which treatment option is best for you and your condition. We are more than happy to provide a quick phone consultation to discuss your condition and needs and provide you with the best treatment option.
Do you provide direct billing services?
Yes we do! You may check under our direct billing page if your insurer is listed, and as long as your policy allows direct billing, we are able to provide this service.
Am I sharing space with any other patient during my treatments?
Treatments at our facility are all done one-on-one in your own private room, whether it be physiotherapy or massage therapy. We do not believe in the ‘tables and curtains” model, and we believe that each patient should have privacy during their treatments.
Where are you located?
We are located on West Hunt Club Road prior to Merivale Road, in the same plaza located next to La-Z-Boy.
Is there free parking?
We have lots of free parking! We also have 3 designated spaces for our clinic, reserved for patients who have physical limitations/injuries that prevent them from walking a further distance.
How long is my initial assessment?
In each service, our initial assessments are 1 hour long. The reason for this is to allow the therapist enough time to properly assess, diagnose, and treat our patients. For acupuncture services, the initial assessment may take up to 75 minutes long due to the AcuGraph scan done prior to treatment.
Do I receive treatment in my initial assessment?
Due to the length of our initial assessments, contrary to most clinics, we do provide treatment in the first sessions for all services (excluding Registered Dietitian).
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept cash, VISA, Mastercard, American Express, and direct deposit (from insurers).
Can I get a full body massage treatment?
This is a question that is commonly asked. You may discuss with your Registered Massage Therapists the area you want them to work on, including full-body if that is what you prefer!
Are your services covered by OHIP?
Unfortunately, the only service that may be covered under OHIP under certain restrictions is physiotherapy. You must be aged 65 years or older, 19 years or younger, and/or recently discharged as an inpatient of a hospital and in need of physiotherapy clinic services that are directly connected to the condition, illness or injury for which the person was admitted to the hospital. You may also be waiting upwards of 3 months to enter a publicly-fundedphysiotherapy clinic, along with only $312 of coverage per condition. You must also have a doctor’s referral to be considered for OHIP coverage.
What if I have a gender preference for my therapist?
If you have a gender preference for your therapist, please make sure to mention to us over the phone prior to booking if you are looking for a specific therapist or have a gender preference.
Is low level laser therapy included in my physiotherapy/chiropractic sessions?
Low-level laser therapy is beneficial for many conditions and may be included as part of your treatment. It would have an additional cost of $20 if used during a regular treatment. Appointments that are strictly for low-level laser therapy are subject to regular appointment fees depending on how long of a laser session booked.
