Why we have a cancellation policy
- Your therapist is paid for the appointments they see.
- When a visit is missed without notice, that appointment time cannot be filled and the income is gone for the practitioner who was ready to treat you.
- There is usually someone else on our list in pain who would have taken that time.
That is the whole reason this policy exists. It protects the people who care for you, and it protects the patients waiting behind you.
How much notice we need
| Service | Notice to cancel or reschedule |
|---|---|
| Physiotherapy, chiropractic, massage therapy, acupuncture, cold plunge and Himalayan infrared sauna | 1 business day |
| Registered dietitian, initial assessment | 2 business days |
| Registered dietitian, prepaid follow-up | 2 business days to reschedule; cannot be cancelled |
| IV infusions and injections | 2 business days |
Business days are Monday to Friday.
- We cannot process cancellations on weekends or holidays, so an appointment on Monday needs notice by the Friday before.
- IV drip bookings hold a 50% deposit at the time of booking.
Late cancellations and missed appointments
A cancellation is considered late when the appointment is cancelled less than the required notice, listed above. A no-show is when a patient misses an appointment without cancelling.
If we do not get the required notice
- A late cancellation is any appointment cancelled after the required notice period. A no-show is when you miss your appointment without contacting us. In either case, the full appointment fee will be charged.
- Prepaid registered dietitian follow-up appointments cannot be cancelled. They may be rescheduled with at least 2 business days notice. If the appointment is cancelled, the prepaid fee is forfeited.
Life happens, so call us
If something comes up, phone 613-234-1999 as soon as you know.
We know that life happens and sometimes plans need to change. Please give us as much notice as you can so we can help move your appointment and offer the time to someone else who may need it.
We would always rather reschedule your appointment than charge a cancellation fee, but the required notice period still applies.
