Providing timely care

Our goal is to provide the perfect client experience and top quality health and wellness services to all our patients in a timely manner. No-shows, late arrivals, and cancellations impact not only our therapists’ ability to earn a living but our other patients who need care.

Please be aware of our policy regarding missed appointments and late cancellations.

Gender preference

We understand that some clients have a gender preference for their treatment provider. It's important to mention this when you make your initial booking, so that we can be sure to accommodate your request. Unfortunately we can't be held responsible for last-minute requests.

Appointment cancellation

When you book your appointment at Elysian Wellness, you’re reserving a time on our calendar that’s no longer available to our other patients. Out of respect to your fellow patients, please contact us as soon as you know you won’t be able to make your appointment.

If cancellation is necessary, we require that you call at least 48 business hours (2 business days) before your appointment. Appointments are in high demand, and your advanced notice will allow another patient access to that appointment time.

Late cancellations and missed appointments

A cancellation is considered late when the appointment is cancelled less than 48 business hours (2 business days) before your booked time. A no-show is when a patient misses an appointment without cancelling.

  • In the case of a cancellation between 24 and 48 business hours before an appointment, the charge is 50% of the service fee booked.
  • In the case of a cancellation of less than 24 business hours before an appointment, the charge is 100% of the service fee booked.
  • In the case of a no-show or missed appointment, the charge is 100% of the service fee booked.
  • Please be aware that we cannot accept cancellation or rescheduling requests on weekends and holidays, unless your appointment is scheduled 48 business hours after the request was made.
  • Registered dietitian follow-up appointments can only be rescheduled 48 business hours prior to your appointment. If a follow-up is outright cancelled, the prepayment is forfeited, as per our cancellation policy, and is non-refundable. Initial appointments may be cancelled or rescheduled 48 business hours prior to your scheduled appointment.

COVID-19 cancellation policy

Due to the high rate of vaccination against COVID-19, we no longer provide any credits due to COVID-19 related cancellations by default. If you are required to cancel due to COVID-19 related reasons, we will assess case by case, but there will be no guarantee of a credit or rescheduling being provided.
