A Quick Look at Shawn

Shawn’s approach to treatment is engaged and methodical, favouring very precise and specific work. Shawn aims to reduce pain and muscular limitations through the use of manual techniques that are customised to each client’s condition, needs and goals. As part of his treatments, you can expect to receive activities to complete at home to enhance your care, such as remedial exercises and hydrotherapy.

About Shawn

Shawn has always been passionate about the function of the human body and how it moves. He completed his studies at Algonquin College in 2017, and obtained his massage therapy certification with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario in 2019.

Shawn has a wide variety of clinical experience from working with prenatal clients and university level and competitive athletes. He has also helped those with chronic illnesses, like headache/migraine pain, neurological impairments and other conditions. In the near future Shawn plans to expand his skill and knowledge in TMJ dysfunction, craniosacral therapies and myofascial release.

Shawn has a history in athletics, with football, wrestling, track and field, and martial arts just to name a few. Outside of massage therapy, Shawn enjoys leading an active lifestyle, currently favouring weight lifting and long-distance running. He is also a fan of cooking and baking.
