Dancie Kelly is a registered dietitian at Elysian’s Bells Corners location.

Danice received a degree in nutrition and dietetics from Acadia University, and completed her 10-month dietetic internship with Eastern Health, the regional health authority in her hometown of St. John’s, Newfoundland. She has completed courses with the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition, as well as courses in mindfulness and personal training. Danice has also recently completed next-level training on obesity education.

About Danice

Danice’s many years of experience as a food operations supervisor in healthcare saw her focused on food safety and therapeutic nutrition. As a dietitian, she’s worked in both a weight loss clinic and as part of an integrative healthcare team in a family practice.

To help her patients reach their health and weight loss goals, Danice combines individualised nutrition education and custom meal plans with targeted use of supplements and healthy mindfulness practices. She helps her clients understand that there’s more to weight loss than just healthy eating and exercise. There are also physiological responses that can make losing weight — and keeping it off — a challenging ordeal for many.

As a foodie and dietitian who understands the importance of overall well-being, Danice believes that eating should be a relaxed and enjoyable experience for everyone, free from the negative thinking and judgement that we can put ourselves through. She will work with you to improve your relationship with food, and to make healthy eating both enjoyable and less complicated. Her nutritious meal plans are fully customisable and include weekly meal and snack ideas with delicious, simple recipes that get delivered straight to your inbox.
